Tickets listed for resale with Tickbooking may appear on marketplaces above face value.

We look at data across Ticketmaster, StubHub, and other marketplaces to create a comprehensive dataset of listings comparable to your seats. Then, based on your particular team’s sales and listing price trends, we will price your tickets to sell at the highest the market allows. Plus, our pricing updates up to every 10 minutes to ensure the most up-to-date pricing.

By broadcasting to 10+ marketplaces and reaching 5x the buyers, Tickbooking can sell your tickets at a premium. As a result, most clients make equal to or MORE per ticket without the hassle of selling on their own!

TickBooking is built exclusively for reselling games within season ticket packages in the US for the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, and some NCAAM.

For your convenience and security, the tickets stay in your team’s season ticket account until the tickets sell. At this point, TickBooking will transfer the tickets to the buyer. To start listing with TickBooking, we require users to enter their team’s season ticket account credentials into our secure platform. Tickbooking and our partner marketplaces can authenticate your tickets and transfer them to the buyer once they sell.

In the rare case that your tickets haven’t sold within 3 days of the event, we will offer to purchase your tickets at fair market value.

We determine fair market value by looking at similarly priced seats to yours and by factoring in the market’s direction. You have the option of accepting the offer or keeping the tickets.

We encourage our clients to list well in advance of the game to maximize their resale value and reduce the chance the market dips below your cost.

The primary marketplaces we list on are Ticketmaster, Stubhub, VividSeats, Seatgeek, Gametime, Ticket Network, TickPick, and various ticket broker marketplaces. No marketplace represents more than 20% of our sales, which signifies the importance of listing on multiple marketplaces. Doing so can yield 4-5x as many buyers relative to listing on only one marketplace.

We leverage technology that immediately takes down the listing from every marketplace the instant the tickets sell.

Payments are initiated on the first Tuesday after the event and will arrive in your bank account up to three business days later.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, most marketplaces are making payments AFTER the event occurs. Marketplaces do this, given the risk that events can get canceled because of a COVID outbreak.

Payments are made only if the game occurs. They are initiated on the second Tuesday after the event and will arrive in your bank account up to three business days later.

Yes! We handle playoff ticket sales for all of our supported leagues. When your team’s playoff season approaches, go to your ‘Account’ section, select ‘Playoff Tickets,’ and follow the prompts.

We center the Tickbooking experience around simplicity. Our selling experts manage all pricing for you.

You can monitor the real-time pricing of your tickets in your Tickbooking dashboard, and you can quickly delist tickets as you please.

We guide our season ticket holder clients to think of their season ticket resale performance like a stock portfolio, meaning it looks at the overall sales across the season. Some games will sell for less than you’d think due to various market-related factors (read our BLOG article for more detailed information), and others will go for more than expected.

TickBooking and other online marketplaces are required by the IRS to issue a Form 1099-K for all sellers who receive gross payments above the reporting thresholds.

In order to generate a complete Form 1099-K as required by state and federal tax laws, we’ll need your name, address, and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). Your TIN is typically your Social Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN) for businesses.

To comply with federal and state regulations, we collect your TIN before we make any payments. We will ask you to submit this information in our app after your first listing to ensure that payments are not delayed.

See the IRS FAQs page for more information.

You will receive a 1099-K form from Tickbooking only if you exceed the reporting thresholds. The reporting thresholds for 2022 and 2023 were $20,000 in gross payments from 200 or more payments. In 2024, the threshold will be $5000 in gross payments, and starting in 2025, the threshold will be reduced to $600.

See IRS announcement for more details.

If you are not a U.S. citizen or resident, you may not be subject to reporting or withholding requirements. However, Tickbooking is required to verify your non-U.S. status to comply with IRS regulations.

If this applies to you, you are required to fill out a W-8 form to certify this information. Once you indicate that you are a nonresident alien in the Tax Information section of our app, Tickbooking will arrange for an electronic version of the W-8 form to be sent to you for completion.

Currently, the TickBooking app is only available on the App Store. Until we are available in Google Play, we are committed to providing the best possible user experience for all our users, regardless of their platform.

You can easily list or delist tickets in your Tickbooking dashboard until the tickets sell.

All data submitted with the Tickbooking application is encrypted while in transit. In addition, we encrypt your team credentials before storing them in our database. We do not share any data with 3rd parties for promotional purposes. The security of your season ticket account is our top priority.

In general, ticket prices drop as the event approaches. Because of this, we generally try to sell the tickets quickly while simultaneously achieving a premium above similar seats. To learn more, please read our blog article on pricing.

We currently do not support parking. The good news is that parking is relatively easy for you to sell through your team account, given how parking passes are easier to price and sell.

List as early as possible to maximize your resale value, ideally at the schedule release. As the event approaches, supply tends to build up, leading to a steadily decreasing resale value on average. For information and advice, visit our blog.

We do not purchase season ticket packages, but many clients list their entire season at the schedule release when prices are the highest. Therefore, we may sell most of your season quicker than you can find a buyer for your entire season.

After joining Tickbooking, you can email/text that you want to sell your entire season (or list the various games via your Tickbooking dashboard). It’s just that simple!

We currently do not purchase seat licenses. However, many clients decide to hold on to their seat license and list their entire season at the schedule release when prices are the highest.

Selling seat licenses is a lengthy process and often unsuccessful. Therefore, selling all your tickets for the season and putting your seat license up for the following season may be your best strategy.

We currently support season ticket holders for the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, and some NCAAM and NCAAF teams.

We currently support certain men’s NCAA basketball and football teams.
